Why Does JoyVaults Collect Data from Its Apps and Games?
When you use JoyVaults Apps and Games, we gather information about you. This data, often referred to as "personal data," may be collected automatically when necessary or provided by you voluntarily. We use this data to deliver the app or game you've downloaded, ensure your safety, and for other purposes outlined below (such as advertising) in the "More Details" section.
When you install and use JoyVaults Apps and Games, we may collect and process some of your data for various legitimate purposes.

To understand how users interact with our products and services and to continuously improve them, either directly or through third-party partners (e.g., identifying features that may frustrate users or determining if a level is too challenging).
Legal Basis for Third-Party Analytics – Express Consent: In countries where user consent is required by law, JoyVaults only shares personal data collected through its apps with third-party partners for analytics purposes after you've provided your consent via a pop-up notice in our apps.
Legal Basis for First-Party Analytics – Legitimate Interest: JoyVaults collects user data for its internal analytics tools. This data is solely used by JoyVaults for analytics and is not shared with third parties. The processing is based on JoyVaults' legitimate interest.
Serving Tailored Advertising
To deliver ads that match the preferences and interests of our users, enabling JoyVaults to continue offering free services and products.
Legal Basis – Express Consent: In countries where user consent is required by law, JoyVaults processes or shares personal data collected through its apps for personalized advertising only after you've provided consent via a pop-up notice in our apps.
Note: For data processing activities relying on user consent, you can withdraw your consent anytime from the "settings" page in our applications. Please note that even if you withdraw or refuse consent, you may still receive ads, but they might be less relevant to you as they won't be tailored to your interests.
What Data Does JoyVaults Collect from Its Apps and Games?
JoyVaults does not use any data that directly identifies you. We only collect mobile identifiers and other technical information (with your consent if required) that help us recognize your device.
For the purposes listed above, the data that JoyVaults collects is limited to:
- The apps you are using
- Your IP address
- Your Mobile Advertising ID (Apple IDFA or Google AAID) and device identifier (e.g., IDFV for iOS devices and Android ID for Android devices)
- Information about your device and connection (e.g., user agent, type of connection, timestamp, system language, device model, screen resolution and settings, battery level, available storage space, time zone, OS)
- Data related to your activities on our applications, including how you interact with our apps and the ads served in them
In some JoyVaults Apps and Games, you may choose to log in to your account with a third-party service (Google or Apple) to enhance your experience (e.g., syncing progress across devices, securing progress, and restoring it in case of device loss or upgrade). In such cases, we may collect and securely store your email address in a hashed format within our database. This information will only be used by JoyVaults for account recovery and customer support purposes. We will not share your email with any third party without your consent. With your consent, we may use your email address to keep you informed of updates and offers related to the concerned apps and games.

How long does JoyVaults keep your data?
We don't hold onto your information longer than we need it. JoyVaults stores personal data collected for specific purposes outlined in this policy only for as long as necessary to fulfill those purposes.
- User-level data is typically not kept for more than 12 months
- Data used for our internal analytics tool may be stored for up to 24 months, following the guidelines set by our data protection oversight authority
Children's Privacy
JoyVaults takes children's privacy seriously. We never knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years old. If you are under 16, please refrain from using JoyVaults apps and games.
International Transfers
Some companies we partner with to provide services may be located outside the European Union. In these cases, we ensure:

You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information about you or complete any missing information. Additionally, you can request that we erase your personal data if it's no longer necessary for us to retain it.
Here's how to erase or anonymize your data:
- Reset your mobile advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAAID on Android) or activate "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings. This makes previously collected data unidentifiable and prevents further data collection if "Limit Ad Tracking" is enabled
- Contact us at the address below to have the data we previously collected permanently erased or anonymized
Data Portability
Upon request, we can provide you with the personal data you've given us in a portable format. If applicable, we can even transfer this information directly to another data controller of your choice, as long as the processing is based on your consent or a contract.
Filing a Complaint
